MaryClare Maslyn, Spanish Fork, UT, is the mother of two boys. Born in New York, to a military family, she moved frequently, but has done her best to center her life on family. She has worked for the City of Spanish Fork for fifteen years where she currently serves as the Assistant City Manager. Ms. Maslyn received her Masters in Public Administration from BYU. She served on the Advisory Board for the Utah State Child Care Resource and Referral and the Utah County Board, the Human Resource Board of Central Utah, and the Utah Rural Water Association Board. MaryClare received two National City, County and Communications Marketing Awards (3CMA) for cities. She and her neighbors in Provo, Utah, received a National Neighborhood USA (NUSA) award for renovating and improving a city park for the children in their neighborhood. Her greatest joy comes from her family, friends, and her volunteer efforts for others and for non-profit organizations.

Thomas K. Appiah, Sr.,
Cape Coast, Ghana, was born and educated in Ghana. He attended the
Accra Technical Training Institute and graduated with an Electrical and Mechanical
Engineering City and Guilds Certificate of the London Institute. His
education was furthered at the Radio and Engineering Training School where
he graduated as a broadcast engineer. He retired as the Head
of the Engineering Training School of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.
Currently he is the V.P. of the Past Broadcasters Association and is an Executive
Member of the Cape Coast Development Association. Mr. Appiah is the
ecclesiastical leader for over 1000 parishioners in Cape Coast. He
is married and is the father of 8 children.
Banyan A. Dadson, Cape Coast, Ghana, was born and educated in Ghana. He has BSC and MSC degrees in Chemistry from the University of Ghana and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Cambridge University in England. Professional experience includes serving in the following positions at the University of Cape Coast: Head of Chemistry Department (20 years); Dean of Faculty of Science, (3 years); Pro Vice Chancellor, (2 years); Chairman and member of several university committees and boards. Dr. Dadson has been a visiting professor at the University of Ibadan and Brigham Young University.
Currently he is an External Examiner to all the science universities in Ghana. Professional affiliations include: Fellow of Ghana Chemical Society, Life member of Ghana Science Association, and a Chartered Chemist. He is the author of numerous publications in Professional Journals. He is and has been active in many community and church activities. He served in Nigeria for 3 years as the leader of over 200 young men and women who were engaged in volunteer service for their church.
Henrietta Dadson, Cape Coast, Ghana, is the mother of 6 children. She attended Wesley College where she was trained as a teacher. She taught school for 5 years. She has been active with her husband in many community and church projects. Along with running a busy household, she has been a commercial baker. Also, for a number of years she was a retail distributor for several large manufacturing companies. The Dadsons have taken many homeless children into their home, some for several years.
Bossman Dowuona-Hammond, Accra, Ghana, is married and has 4 children. He owned and operated an advertising firm in Accra—Trend Indicators. More recently he has been the country director of ACS Computer Services, Inc., a data processing company based in the U.S. and employing nearly 1000 individuals in Ghana.
